Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 40 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a hybrid Accounts Payable Manager to work in our Center City, PA location.
The Accounts Payable Manager reports to the Controller and is responsible for the supervision of daily activities for the Accounts Payable section within the Department of Finance.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing, coordinating, and training staff on accounts payable and purchasing procedures
- Training new office managers on A/P systems and procedures
- Reviewing invoices for coding & accuracy
- Meeting with vendors for account reviews
- Resolving escalated issues with vendors, invoices, payments
- Implementing, maintaining & reporting on KPIs for the department
- Preparing reports such as A/P aging, Future Obligations, and other related reports
- Overseeing tax-related processes such as 1099 filing, sales and use tax reporting/filing
- Conducting vendor and other audits and expense analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Considerable knowledge of Accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliation & audit processes
- Considerable knowledge of A/P processes including requisition & purchase order processes
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Previous experience in use of accounting software
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
